"Kevlar" is merely DuPont's trade name for para-aramid fiber. "Twaron" is a similar product from another manufacturer.

No, it's completely different. Spectra is a polyethylene fiber, which is why it's so slippery and hard to knot or bond to.

Not exactly. "Dyneema" is the trade name of the original polyethylene fiber developed by Hoescht-Celanese in Europe. Honeywell (formerly Allied Signal) licensed the manufacturing rights in the US and named their product "Spectra". They're the same product from different sources and should be considered interchangeable.
