Well after reading my reply, I realize I shouldn't use the iPhone to type responses! Fat fingers. Anyway, Randy just posted a link to a jig that looks identical to mine. Mine came from eBay, but same basic thing- you can see that it has a small and a wide jaw for different blades, and even with the short thumb plane blade it can be set at the right angle, but the blade has to be chucked right at the end of the blade so you get the angle you need.
