: flat nylon lacing tape made for keeping cables contained,but has
: fallen out of use lately) and lashed the rear frame in place. it
: pulls real tight and does a great job. My ONLY reservation is
: the lump it will make in the skin. Otherwise I say go for it it
: is clean neat and very strong. it has salvaged my project!

You can carve a little channel in the wood for the lashing to lay in, then no bumps in the fabric.
