That was pretty much the path, we paddled to Hand from the forest service camp ground late in the day, spent the next night on Gilbert, explored Effingham and retreated back to Clark which had enough campers to host a rock concert so we went to Willis hoping for the more isolated camping area on the end, we eneded up camping on the trail to that area, and then we just took an open water route back in. It was a short trip with 2 long straight through drives but it was still worth it. I will post a slideshow and GPS tracks later.
