One more thing about acetone... It is not particularly toxic on its own, but it carries whatever contaminants it contains deep into your skin. For example, it will carry uncured epoxy, which is nasty, into your skin. So, never use it to clean epoxy or other nasties off your hands, and more generally, keep it off your skin if it has anything nasty dissolved in it.

Re. gloves, I have yet to find gloves that will stand serious work time with liquid acetone. Maybe I have just missed the good stuff...
