My ceiling in the garage is almost 11' high, need pulleys (blocks) to do this or I'd have to be shuttling a ladder all over the place to get a boat up or down. While that might be ok for today, in 10 or 15 years it wouldn't be fun. Btw, don't plan on leaving this house :)
