: on to sheer clamps way of doing it. Anything that removes the
: need for accuracy makes construction easier, especially for
: first time builders (and the rest of us).

If you go to the "Glen L" website you'll see the same method used. Supposedly the boat once cut comes together very quickly from an odd cutout of plywood into a boat like structure in a matter of hours. Many home builders get turned off by a project that takes forever to get to the point it actually looks like a boat then never finish the project. Speeding this initial process along helps many builders "see" the end result in their minds so they actually finish the job.
