My father has plans for one , about 12 feet as I remember, plywood screwed onto a frame. I grew up in cajun country, old timers would pole them through the marsh standing up. My memories of those boats were that they were incredibly tippy, and I never could figure out how those guys could stand up in one. If I were to build one I would eliminate the frame and go stitch and glue.
