Thanks guys, I am defiantly going to add a few more layers of glass. I think I had three layers of 6oz. on there, must have hit a rock. We had some pretty big rollers hitting the beach one of the times and came in pretty hard. The 3m protective tape seems worth a try I looked it up. 3M says it is good for marine application; it’s expensive though, about $40 for a half roll.
