Victor, a lot of people ask me why I will not move back to the US and I tell them the reason is that there are too many Americans there. Mostly they tend to be rude and abusive and well worth avoiding. However, I never met a kayaker I did not like. They have all been good, non-judgmental, friendly and helpful. The people on this forum fit that description exactly and, I am sure, welcome your contribution.
