I stopped using bead and cove a while back, but after doing the rails on this latest stand up paddleboard I think I may start using bead and cove just for that. I used to laminate rails but for weight savings this one I did a stripped rail with 1/4" strips. What a pain in the butt!!! I think next time I'll try 1/2" strips with bead and cove.
