She weighs 39 pounds. I used 3/4" plywood and 3/4" stock for the gunwales and stringers because that's what I had. It could be built lighter for sure.
No software - I just enlarged the line drawing 16X with the poster option on my printer, taped the pages together, and used my calipers to measure for the offsets. My enlagement was 4.79 inches smaller than the actual boat, so each measurement was multiplied by 4.79" to get the numbers I needed. Didn't take near as long and wasn't as hard as it sounds.
