So, after six years I finally put it in the water this past labour day. I had it stripped in a winter, but then got sidelined on renovations for a few years. So, this past august I put in some time a few days a week and finished everything else...it was a blast. Everything seems great except the seat. I was a little rushed on finishing everything and ended up ordering a seat and backrest from Newfound woodworks. The problem is I can't get the back rest up high enough and the seat seems to put me to high up. I've tried just sitting on a 1" piece of foam, which isn't all that uncomfortable, but it put's my legs to sleep. I have some ideas, but was hoping somebody has outfitted the same kayak and is happy with the results and would like to share their setup.
Thanks
