Single layer of glass, it's quite flexible, no more rigid than the Dacron. Advantage is it's very tough compared to most skins and should last the life of the frame. My first one is now on it's fourth season and looks exactly like it did when it was covered, other than some wear to the paint. Don't see a reason to ever recover it.
