Wow that sounds easier than I thought it would be, never thought of stapling/tacking the fabric. I have some Polyfiber chemicals left over from an Aeronca Champ recover and was planning to use the Poly-Tak fabric cement for applying the unceretified light dacron. I'm familliar with West System, used it for the frame buid.
How much resin do you think it would take for a 14' x 18" boat?
Do you favor a particular style of fiberglass? I was thinking of 4oz E or S cloth.
Do you completely fill the weave or just a thourough wet out?
If leveling the weave do you use any filler?
Recomended top coats?
