Not the first time I have heard of this happening. I had a woman bring me her boat that had lunged forward of her roof. She had forgot to tie it down due to getting involved in a conversation prior to departure. She then travelled down a city street and did not notice that the mail truck in her lane was stopped. She hammerd on the brakes and the kayak torpedoed through the back of the mail truck window. Needless to say it was not repairable and luckily no one was hurt.
