hello again Bill and Wes,

Wes You have the same boat although yours is a strip top (very pretty ) anyway the cockpit front is pretty narrow (s&G version) Ill sit in boat and measure some points of contact. I may have enough contact with out the tabs as the front of the coaming is a tad narrow on the S&G version.

as I mentioned above I can't lift My knee up as there is not enough room , perhaps I can remove a small amount at a time untill it makes sence.

Hinged or removable braces?? (this one crossed my mind as well) get in boat and lock them in place swing them out if you want leg room or want to get out of boat. I wet exit just fine with the braces its getting in/out of boat that they impair the motion esp out.
