Several of us paddled down the Mississippi Friday and Saturday and saw several silver carp jumping right in front of us. Friday, I thought one jumped over the guy in front of me but he said it was about three feet away.
Yesterday, at church, we were eating breakfast and one of the guys was relating how he'd been hit in the back by one and several had jumped into his fishing boat. He said he used one for bait later in the day. :)
