Amy suggested to me the idea of carrying the kayak upside-down. I had never really thought about it before, but it makes sense. However, as for wind resistance I can tell you without a doubt that carrying a Stand Up Paddleboard on edge like the pic below can cause a small, lightweight VW to go all over the place even at 35 mph!!! I am going to have to swap the board and the kayak as soon as I get new hully rollers. My hully rollers are disentegrated from UV and leave rubbery goo on everything they touch and I don't want to get it on the SUP. It's too late for the kayak!!!
