I made a roller set-up for my basement windows, but used a 6" trailer roller for the center and then gradually larger fixed casters outboard of that roller. This way it tends to self center the boats as they roll on the rollers and takes considerably less attention to shove them into or out of the basement. Cheap too, cost maybe $15.
