: It was commissioned over the summer with a completion date around
: Thanksgiving. To make it even lower in volume I'll be lowering
: and reshaping the deck. It was modified so much it now resembles
: a Petrel. It's going to have a LOT of carbon fiber. The sides of
: the okoume plywood hull will be covered in CF while the bottom
: gets a tough black graphite coating. The deck will be stripped
: in Sapele. All of the deck and cockpit hardware will be carbon
: fiber as well and coated with an automotive clear coat. It
: should be stunning.

Interesting build Dan, I too find it a bit odd to be using CF over the ply and then using sapele which isn't the lightest. But should be pretty regardless :)
