Graphite bottom is a great idea. This winter sometime I'll be adding at least a partial graphite keel strip to my Disko Bay. I tried this several years ago on my NDK Greenlander that I've tried to damage and other than a few cosmetic scratches it's just about perfect. The very deep V on the DB is damage prone (for me at least) so this should fix that problem.

Only got about 900 jobs lined up for this winter, well maybe not quite that many ;)
