The shop takes up about a half of our walk-out basement. Overall it's about 16x28 with a 10x12 wing for storage. The big power tools are all stationary except the planer. It took time but I developed a very effective layout for the tools. I can fit a 22' long tandem if I have to. The only problem is I can only build one boat at a time. It works. I'm trying to talk Christine into letting me build a separate 24'x36' workshop on the property... How else will I build my future 24' trimaran? ;)

: (primary space in the old shop was 55 x 85). My new shop here

: everything is being stored in purpose built cabinets that I can
: close up so they don't fill with dust. Also all the big tools
: are on wheels and get rolled into storage bays when not in use,
: keeps the shop space open. Of course this isn't free.
