Really nice information, thanks. If you can find a way to post your .pdf I'd definitely like to see it as well.

I have a question about gluing procedure on the epoxy test. I'm not asking because I think that epoxy is the best solution, but because it cures differently than the other glues you mentioned. First, did you pre-coat the surface with a smear of epoxy to let it soak in and fill the grain and then use thickened epoxy for the actual gluing? Second, how long did you let the epoxy cure in all of your samples before you did the destructive testing?
