Well, maybe take the skin off, and rebuild the masik and footrest frames to give you more leg/foot room. I did that from the start for a few of Tom's designs. A LC cockpit version, with a keyhole coaming will allow you to move your legs around some, too.

You'd still have the same hull that you like so much, and would save a lot of time over building another boat.

Or you could build another boat. The Sea Glider is based on the Sea Rider - it's longer, but narrower. You could build the cockpit area to your taste.
