Have a look at the Pygmy Coho. As kit boats go, it's generally regarded as one of the belles of the ball. It should fit you just fine, and if you really want more room, they have a high volume version. It's a good all-around design that works as an expedition boat for sure, but also makes a fine day boat, provided you like a high-volume hull.
