When I built my first kayak I obsessed about everything. One day I was worried about the "right " time to add the keel strips. So I asked Nick and he told me, "just cover the forms with wood"! This was probably the best advise I could have gotten. It made me think instead of worrying so much. Here's a pic of my first kayak. More @ Picturetrail.com/kc4zqz.
