I orriginally had the Craftsman base on my table saw which is also a Craftsman, but got tired of the crappy legs and bought a Bosch base like they use on their portable saw, works very well, though it's not cheap, also got rid of their crappy fence and replaced it with a Vega, now it's a pretty nice saw.
