Mine is an old model with a cast iron top and I had to drill as I remember two holes in it to mount the fence. Still it's awfully nice to have a fence that's very easy to adjust and stays straight.

It's also on it's third motor, it's had probably a thousand hours of hard use over the years.

I'd love to have a cabinet saw, but I'd almost have to build it in the basement ;)
