I would assume that MDO is available one sided because it's designed as sign board, but I've never seen it that way, the only stuff I've seen was two sided. If I was going to use it on a boat I'd want the two sided.

You can see at least two frames from the cockpit, the one in front of and the one behind the cockpit easily every time you get in our out.
