I though of that and it's the only decent idea I have at the moment. Trimming the box flush with the where the skin will be and getting the recess right is going to be a bit fussy. I am a good woodworker and can do this but I was hoping for something simpler. Something less skilled people could duplicate. Maybe if I just go ahead and build it I will come up with a simpler idea or someone will see it and see a better way.
