OC-1's hull shape is pretty much round, the outrigger keeps it upright.

A hemisphere shape below the waterline has by far the least drag, just also has zero stability or possibly negative stability. Specially for a boat like a ski where you sit above the waterline.

I do though like go fast boats :)
