I am failing to understand the mechanics of a skeg, especially the removable slot and why the skeg does not fall off the boat :) Does it deploy from back to front or front to back? To me a picture is worth a 1000 words, could someone direct me to a drawing of the mechanics from actuator to deployment of skeg.
