: Keep in mind that many of the rivers and streams in the Sao Paulo
: area have raw sewage dumped into them from the many shanty
: ghettos along them. And, there are parasites there that will
: make you wish you were dead (I even brushed my teeth with Sprite
: once when I was out of bottled water). So be very careful about
: not ingesting any water (NOT a good place to bang out rolls!),
: and clean yourself up before you eat or drink anything. Oh, and
: if there are no locals in a body of water, there is probably a
: really good (crocodiles) reason.

Thanks for the input. I have had some experiences with parasite incubation in the past and i do not want to repeat them.
