Drew up what I have in mind. I have built #2 before and it works perfect. There is line that runs to the deck and a jamb cleat to anchor the end. I don't show any of that.

I am leaning toward #1 because it is smaller in profile. Will fit in the space I have better. While I have calculated it appears fully down it would have more area too. Probably more than I would actually need.

Last one I just used a piece of 3mm ply. This time I think I am going to use thicker stock and give it an airfoil shape much the like the keel on a boat.

Finished the hull. Now I am gong to tackle installing hatches. Then the skeg will be the last project before skinning.
