Thanks for the kind words guys. This project has been a fun but challenging learning curve being that this is my first wood working project. First time even using a block plane!
Yes I am using the stands from the book and when I turned the kayak over I used an old seatbelt to make the cradles, which works great so far and doesn't collect dust.
