No ice yet, Scott, but we are looking at a crusty thin layer of snow on the ground right now. You are right though, heading south appeals to many folks from the great white north. I remember Mike talking about Lake Powell years ago before he died, beautiful write up, images...stirred me plenty to develop a hankering to get over there one day. I will spend this winter building Linda's Solace 16 if she ever unwraps it...I am sure she would love to do that paddle while it is colder here. For now, I will rest my achy bones (turned 50 today) and rest up for next week...plan on getting on the river. No ice on it yet, that fun should start in November. Hope you had a great trip if you are back now.
