: Ha! More than "just" another. My 5-10 year plan is:

: 1) Build a tandem SOF
: 2) Build a S&G canoe
: 3) Build a S&G something else (sailing dinghy, maybe)
: 4) Build a "real" sailboat

: BUT.. for now, I've promised my wife the garage for the winter. She

The only problem I find with a home built boat is the amount of time you spend talking to people who ask about it. I’m not anti-social and I like it but it sure gets in the way of serious exercise! I too am no fan of sanding. Boat building is notoriously addictive. I think it was Aristotle Onassis who said “boats are like rabbits, you can have one or lots but you can’t stop at two” - and he wasn’t even a builder!
