: At last my Yost Sea Cruiser R has been finished and launched (and
: named "Wrinkle"). It's my first V hulled kayak and
: found it a bit tippy to begin with. I'm assured I will get used
: to it. It was launched at dusk this evening in a force 4/5 wind
: (not that it shows in the wave heights in the photos - due to a
: protective sandbar). I'm very pleased with it.

: available. Also to Bill, Dave and Barry of this forum for their
: helpful advice. In addition I would like to thank all forum
: members for their posts which have provided a good read and an
: occasional boost for me to get on and finish my project.

Do yourself a favor with the V bottom, find a shallow spot and lean, bracing off the bottom, till it loses secondary stability, you I'm sure will find that the actual stability is quite high then can relax paddling her :)
