I expect to test it by early spring. I'll be using polyester, too. Being a newb paddler, and in upstate NY (can't walk without tripping over a rock), I'm wondering if it'll be tough enough to survive me, like I expect nylon & Goop to be.

Worst case, I figure: I spend a little bit of money on this, find out I don't like it, and pull it off again to recover in nylon and Goop.
