Just another pic of the progress, I found the stripping quite easy going in straight lines with only one taper per strip.

I did find that the transition from the fore deck (form 8 to form 9 for guillemot builders), in order to keep the deck fair was a little tricky but that s learning.

Ian it seems I went to your blog to look at your deck/combing transition a day late so to speak. Good idea on running one strip straight and back filling upwards. That would have worked better than my fill with no regard and OH it looks like I need to twist this piece and force it into submision technique.
