If you were bringing them up on one end loaded into a truck, I probably have nothing to worry about.

What layup did you use?

: I seriously doubt that you will need to add additional
: reinforcement to the hull. We routinely portage our boats fully
: loaded and we've never had an issue. This year we did a couple
: of portages this year with a weeks worth of gear in each boat
: that included hauling them into the back of a pickup, kind of
: similar to the way you describe only without the wheels. No
: problemo.

: The hulls of these boats are much stronger than people realize.
