Lashing seems to be the way to go rather than glueing and pegging. Good info.

: hard. If my cedar seat cracks or breaks i can cut it out and
: replace it no problem. Also all the wood can be sanded and
: treated before it's assembled giving a very nice clean look on

: BEWARE: Don't leave your boat white unless your going to invest in
: a Sea Sock. Sand and crud get stuck in spots impossible to
