Hi all

Further to George's post a couple of weeks ago about building watertight hatches, I've got a couple of questions.

(George thanks for posting your experience - perfect timing for me to learn from it!)

* I've got Vaclav's book, and I get the idea of creating a channel for the gasket. How do I protect the gasket material while glassing the lip? I can't see reference to covering it with plastic, etc, in the notes - do I just glass over the material? (Won't that mean the material sticks to the epoxy?)

* Do you prefer to run the channel right along the hatch edge, as Vaclav suggests? Or inboard a little.
