: a pair of NRS gloves but it seems the model I chose has nothing
: to do with keeping the hands dry. So, after extensive
: experiments I rube goldberged the solution shown below. The
: little white strips are made from self-sticking weather seal
: tape. I'm sure I'm not inventing anything new or original, but
: it did keep my hands dry during today's paddle.

: I suppose a good story teller could say those little white things
: are modeled after an ancient Eskimo drip ring made of Seal liver
: and polar bear saliva.
