I suppose there's no reason this can't be done, would be more difficult to adjust with a tiny ocean cockpit though. Course the footpegs are too, have to do it with your feet.

I've become sold on the round 19" cockpit of my Greenlander, there are lots of advantages. You have to "wear" the kayak to work in around the footpegs, friends call it the "boat with feet" .
