Bill's right about the electric heaters being cheap. Garages are seldom well insulated and easy to heat though. Titebond Extend is good down to 40 degrees (unlike regular Titebond which is only good down to 50). Of course YOU may not be good down to 40. For the higher temps needed for glassing you can string rope(s) over the top of your kayak and form a tent with tarps or quilts to make it easier to raise the temp. on the kayak. The oil filled electric heaters pose less of a fire hazard than the red-hot heating coil type. Good luck.
