One of the problems specially around here, Steve's a sorta neighbor, is that it gets awfully cold and stays that way. Even using titebond the glue while it initally sets up pretty quick still takes several hours to fully cure, so the shop temperature has to be at least a minimum temperature for that to happen. 50 degrees is probably fine, but letting it drop below that and it can take several hours to warm the shop up to the point where you'll want to work again. Wastes an awful lot of energy and time waiting for a cold shop to get at least reasonably warm enough to work.

It's amazing how thick titebond glue gets when it's allowed to get cold and how long it takes to warm it back up again. Best to make up tool bags to take supplies home and keep them warm between uses. Keeps tool rust at bay too. You learn this stuff quick when you work on a big boat in a marina a hundred miles from home :)
