: Um....3 to 4 weeks? Well you're at least optomistic :)

: Actually the heaters I was thinking of look much like built in
: baseboard heaters but are portable, somewhat more expensive than
: the cheap heaters you normally find, they'll also keep a small
: room fairly comfortable and will regulate the heat pretty well.
: I've had two times I've used these heaters to heat smallish
: garage like structures and both times they would easily maintain
: normal room temperatures. But you have to not set them back much
: when you're not there, it takes a really long time to warm the
: space the first time, much easier to maintain the temperature.

Having electric heat in my house as my main source of heat I will jump in here. one thing to be careful of with the Portable Electric heaters that Bill is talking about is to not over load your circuit with plugging too many in. Yes they are a great way to heat a small space but I would recommend you look at the current load on the lines that are in the garage and see what else is running off them. Some older garages might have a couple of plugs in them but those usually are a shared circuit with some other plugs in the house. Just double check before you plug too much in and cause a fire.

Happy building.
