: your circuit with plugging too many in. Yes they are a great way
: to heat a small space but I would recommend you look at the
: current load on the lines that are in the garage and see what
: else is running off them. Some older garages might have a couple
: of plugs in them but those usually are a shared circuit with
: some other plugs in the house. Just double check before you plug
: too much in and cause a fire.

Good advice. Some of those older neighboorhoods in Chicago may well have house with 40 to 50 amp service for the whole house and the garage. Can't run much more than lights off these circuits.
